Honestly, did I buy too much, or too little for my best friends baby present?
My best friend is 20, wev’e been BEST friends since we were 4. her babys dad is a low life, no job, no money, lives with friends because he got kicked out like over a year ago. shes due in OCT and the dad hasnt bought the baby one thing!!!!
ANYWAYS, so im trying to help out becuase i do have money, I bought her,
-A bag of diapers
-Wipes
-Crib sheet
-2 outfits
- a winter snow suit thing for babies
- a musical mobile
- a pretty in pink play gym!
-diaper bag
i talked to her mom and asked her what she needed so i got everything… am i being to generous, like thats a lot for a gift my mom said. ive spent over 300 dollars :S
but shes my best friend and i love her and that baby is my neice~!!
Wow, that is a lot of money but if she needs it and you’re best friends and you are fine with spending all that then it’s ok I guess. But to me $300 is a bit much.
Typically for good friends’ showers I’d buy a baby bathtub & fill it with tons of stuff (i.e. lotions, washes, rattles, books, meds, toys, etc).
